Things to do
From Lindstrøm Hotel you can wander backwards through history. Take a walk through the old quarter, Gamle Lærdalsøyri, see the King’s Road, visit Borgund stave church, the best-preserved medieval church in Norway, or find out more about the world famous Lærdal River, which has been a Mecca for salmon anglers since 1850.
Lærdal has been designated as a Sustainable destination.
Lærdal is a typical west country village with dramatic mountains and a fertile, cultivated landscape. The farming culture is very much alive here and the area’s dry climate makes it perfect for growing fruit, berries and vegetables. This gives us access to good local produce.
With Lindstrøm Hotel as your base you can walk the old King’s Road, enjoy all the activities in Flåm, such as the Flåm Railway or a fjord cruise, or walk in the wild and beautiful Aurland valley. Or what about a hike in the Jotunheim mountains?
